i win!

I hit single digits this morning! i think i've been waiting for this day for 31 weeks. after a really pissy day at work, i come home to find my husband on his hands and knees shampooing my carpet. i was so excited! i found out today that i'm probably going to lose my job when my baby arrives. in all honesty i was planning to not come back from maternity leave anyway but its different when they tell you you'll probably have to go. my boss is pretending to be disappointed but in all reality i think we both know there's not enough work for two people in our office. i just wish they would have gave me an answer when i asked them last spring so i could have a real job now. oh well. my baby shower is this weekend and i'm so excited. the "Friend" throwing it is the same friend that suggested i not have one because i didn't have enough friends who weren't involved with james' job to show up...yeah- we have like 20 people coming. she can (in the words of eric cartman) suck my balls. the cutest thing is that my mom is SO freaking excited about this baby. it's really sweet. i've never seen her this worked up over something. lol. she has plan A for if the baby comes a week before christmas, plan b for if the baby comes a couple of days before christmas, plan c for if the baby comes after christmas and a post christmas plan for if Amelia holds out for aunt Miranda's request to come on the 28th. lmao. it's adorable.

we bought amelia's coming home outfit on monday! it's sooo cute! dh picked it out. i don't know if you can see it or not but it has tiny scottie dogs on it! also my stomach has apparently learned a new trick- it moves. i'll be sitting on the couch and then all of the sudden there's just this roll across my belly. we've also learned to play a game- flashlight tag. i'll take a flashlight and put it up to my stomach when i know she's awake and she'll kick it away. so i'll move it and she'll kick it again. i can tell she's in there going "what the hell lady?" but i don't care, it's fun!
