i hope the hossy has restraints

it's hilarious how people can always take the most joyous events of your life and turn it around to be about them. My parents divorced when I was 6 and 22 years later they still can't sit in the same room with each other without getting into it. It winds up being a big disaster with me in the middle. So we had decided to ask my father (not necessarily the instigator but definitely the whiner and the one who is harder to control) to wait until after the baby is born to come to the hospital and he threw a fit...so now i guess he's coming to keep vigil and says my mother should be the one to stay at home. Then he kept asking who was going to help him find me in the hospital and telling me that he was going to call us and expected dh to answer. So lost it and told him that I was sorry that they can't act like adults that i can't help him anymore that neither of us would be answering our phones (for him anyway) or be available for consultation. lmao. i told dh i would much rather be the one pushing the 18 lb baby out of my body then dealing with them. The good thing is that I know that at our hossy if i say no phone calls or visitors i will have no phone calls or visitors. but man, once again my dad has found a way to turn this happy occassion into an anxiety filled nightmare. wish me luck ladies- it's going to be a long haul
